Philosophy I capture and pass on to others, through photographs, the excitement I feel about what I am seeing. I aim for a relationship between the eye and the heart in photography, and hope that when you see my images you are aware of what opens such a relationship for you. Photography has become the catalyst to my learning and experience of the world.
Style People often say that my photographs look like paintings. I can't look at anything anymore without wanting to photograph it! My focus is on elements in nature, landscapes and architectural details.
Technique I have used both film and digital and now work exclusively with digital, using primarily Lightroom to process my images. I print a large amount of my work myself on archival quality papers with most in small, limited editions. I produce photographic art cards, as well as both framed and unframed work.
Background I have always loved taking photographs, starting with my Brownie box camera in the 1960’s. While earning my living as a lawyer for many years, I pursued my love of photography as a hobby. in 2005 I committed myself more seriously to photography and launched my business, Serenity Images.
