Peter Coffman’s photography explores places and spaces, and the deep resonance they have in human experience. He has been photographing architecture for over twenty years, and also produced a body of work documenting his walk along the pilgrimage road to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Peter graduated from Ryerson University’s Department of Film and Photography with a B.A.A. in 1988. He has had solo exhibitions at several venues in Toronto, Kingston, (Ontario), and the United States, and has also participated in group exhibitions in Kingston and Toronto. His photography is in private collections in Canada, the United States, and Europe, and has appeared in publications ranging from Queen’s Quarterly to The Globe and Mail.
