In September 2010 ViewPoint Gallery is hosting a guest exhibition titled Behind the Scenes. The exhibition features images captured behind the scenes on film sets by local and international photographers.
This exhibition is in partnership with the 30th Atlantic Film Festival. We will be exhibiting work in the Gallery in both print and digital form, with a satellite location at the Delta Halifax lobby for the duration of the Atlantic Film Festival.
Printed works in the Gallery are by Jenny Blackmore, Holly Crooks, Andrew de Freitas, Etienne Desrosiers, Elias Djemil, Aaron Henderson, Christopher Johnstone and Ashley McKenzie.
"Film Stills: Who Cares" a panel discussion held on September 18th at the Sonic Temple. Time TBD. Moderated by Ron Foley MacDonald, 3 panelists will discuss the value and use of film stills and behind the scenes images in today's digital world.
