Indivisible is a group exhibition by seventeen ViewPoint Gallery members. They are indivisible, distinct individuals drawn together by their shared passion: photography. Like prime numbers, they are exceptional. For this exhibition, the artists will each interpret a prime number through their photographic art. There are an infinite number of prime numbers, which are numbers that are divisible by only themselves and the number one.
A sound installation by John McCarthy will accompany the show. It is inspired by number stations, shortwave radio stations characterized by broadcasting mainly numbers - and some words spoken - by artificially created voices, a practice that appeared after World War II.
