Ever since she was small, Angela Creaser was fascinated with things that were small, with fine details, drawn to the intricacies that most people overlooked, or did not see. Angela's first solo exhibition focuses on images
drawn from almost two years of combining marbles and macro photography.
became a focus of Angela's work by accident – a cheap subject from a dollar store, marbles were
the perfect subject to practice macro technique and thus the obsession began. Angela became intrigued by the light passing through them, the imperfections, and how the colour
spreads through the glass.
marbles with macro and micro lenses allows the details to be the center focus by enlarging
them. There is a certain amount of symmetry within Angela's images, even when it
isn’t literal. She finds symmetry in the placement of the bubbles and the curves;
attention is given to the details when it comes to composition and framing.
